Ages 3-6
Read and Romp Story Time

Mondays at 10:00 a.m.

Summer program runs June 23-August 11.

This weekly storytime is for children ages 3-6 and their caregivers.  The program features a variety of stories, fingerplays, songs and activities.  No registration is required.  Program begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. in the Community Room.

Baby Rhyme Time
Ages 0-2

Baby Rhyme Time

Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.

Summer program runs June 26-August 14.

Babies under three years old meet together with parents or caregivers for 20 minutes of rhymes, songs, and books.

There will be no Baby Rhyme Time on July 3.


Crazy 8s Club
Grades 3-5
All Mondays, June 23-August 11, 3:15-4:15pm  

RU in grades 3-5? Come join our club where wacky math meets mischief at the library! 8 Mondays + You = Fun.  Created by Bedtime Math, we have lots of plans like bouncy dice explosions, glow in the dark geometry and toilet paper Olympics.

Wacky Wednesday Experiments
Ages 6-13

Wednesdays in July, July 2-July 30, 12-6pm

Come into the children's room anytime between 12-6pm and help with the wacky experiment of the day.  Take it home and explain it to everyone.  For children ages 6-13, younger ones may wish to have an adult with them.  A different experiment will be featured each week.
Lindsay and her Puppet Pals
Ages 3-8
Thursday, August 7, 2:00-3:00pm

Come and meet Lindsay and her life size puppets as they share some stories.  Most appropriate for children ages 3-8.  This free show will be held at the Nasson Community Center Little Theatre.
Ice Cream Sundae Party
Summer Reading Program Participants

Thursday, August 14, from 2:00-3:00pm, rain or shine

All children who added books to their reading list this summer are invited to celebrate their hard work by creating their own sundae.
Sheila Dube

Children's Librarian Sheila Dube has been sharing her love of reading aloud
and singing to children at Springvale Public Library since 2003.  She also shares her talents with the community in the local Headstart program classrooms and at the WIC (Women, Infants & Children)  distribution day at York County Community Action
