Story Time
Ages 3-6
Read and Romp Story Time

Mondays at 10:00 a.m.

Winter Story Time runs from Junuary 4-March 28

This weekly story time is for children ages 3-6 and their caregivers.  The program features a variety of stories, fingerplays, songs and activities.  No registration is required.  Program begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. in the Community Room.

There is no Story Time on Monday February 15.

Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.

Winter Baby Rhyme Time runs from January 7-March 31

Babies under three years old meet together with parents or caregivers for 30 minutes of rhymes, songs, and books followed by open-ended free play.


Homeschool Snack & Play Game Hour
Second Tuesday of the month from 10:30-12:00

All homeschooling families are welcome to bring a snack and a board game to share with the group.  We meet in the community room downstairs.

Third Tuesday of the month from 4-5pm

Children in grades K-6 are invited to try their hand at simple computer coding. Julie Williams from Willard School and Miss Sheila will help you code it right!

Build A Better Igloo-Read!
January 25-March 3, 2016

Build an igloo and earn prizes by reading books.  Save up your gallon jugs to build a 3-D igloo in the children's room.  Children ages 2-13 are invited to register for this free, non-competitive reading program.

Youth Services Librarian Sheila Dube has been sharing her love of reading aloud
and singing to children at Springvale Public Library since 2003.  She also shares her talents with the community in the local Headstart program classrooms and at the WIC (Women, Infants & Children)  distribution day at York County Community Action
