L. Orlo
Williams 1908-1990
"One Man Can Make a Difference"
The trustees of
the Springvale Public Library Association wish to recognize the
magnificent gift of the late L. Orlo Williams, a bequest of $3.4
million from his irrevocable charitable remainder trust. Orlo's
name will be forever linked to the Springvale Public Library, not just
for his astonishing generousity, but also for the thirty-five years he
served as trustee. From the time he joined the board until his
death, he gave his time and his talent to the library he loved.
