SUPPORT YOUR LIBRARY!

As a non-profit library, only partially funded by the City, Springvale Public Library depends on the generous support of our community.  From volunteer time, donations to our collection, booksale, Library of Things, office supplies, to becoming a Legacy funder, we could not offer the extensive and vibrant Library that it is without you.

It is with gratitude to the supporters of our Annual Appeal that the Library can pay our staff, maintain our building, and provide our essential services.

Springvale Library is the heart of the community, and you are the heart of the Library.

DONATE USED BOOKS

  • We accept most used books, DVDs, and music CDs throughout the year. Thousands of dollars worth of donations are generously given to the Library for our Annual Book Sale, which raises money to support the library's books, audiobooks, DVDs, and quality programming.

VOLUNTEER

  • Lend your expertise

  • We always need groups and individuals to help us with our spring & and fall yard clean-up

  • Become a Library  Gardener and help with weeding, planting, deadheading, and general beautification.

  • Annual Book Sale Set-up and volunteering needs many volunteers to make it successful. From strong people to bring boxes of books out of the basement to people who can manage our multiple book sale tables.  Please contact Lesley Unger if you can help at lunger@springvalelibrary.org or 207-324-4624
