Reader's Advisory:  Need help picking a good book?  Ask the Librarian, he or she will be glad to give you suggestions.

Homework Help: Can't find what you need?  The Librarian can help you locate the materials you want and can give you advice on where else to get information.

Computer Use: Want to play a game?  Three computers are set aside for children's use only.

Bring your Mom or Dad to the Springvale Public Library and sign up for a card!

  • They need to show us identification with your address.

  • Cards for Sanford and Springvale residents are free.

  • Cards for families who live out of town cost $20 per year.

  • On your first visit to the library, you can borrow 2 items.

 

 

 

 

Toddler Time

Fridays @ 10am

Each week, toddlers ages 2-3 meet together with parents or caregivers for this free, 30 minute program.  The program features a variety of stories, finger plays, songs and activities that will introduce the toddler to story time programming. Runs from January 10 to April 10.

Make It/Take It Crafts

Mondays from 10am-12pm

Children are invited to come in anytime between 10 am–12 noon and make the craft of the day in the children’s room.  No registration is required.  For a more structured story time, try Friday’s Toddler time. Runs from January 6 to April 6. No program on January 20 or February 17.

Baby Rhyme Time

Thursdays @ 10am

Babies under three years old meet together with parents or caregivers for 30 minutes of rhymes, songs, and books followed by open-ended free play. This lively and brief program of fun, early literacy activities, is held weekly in the community room. Runs from January 9 to April 9.

LEGO Club

Wendesdays from 2pm-4 pm

Meets every Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm. All you need to bring is your imagination, and the Legos will be provided.

Family Sensory Story Time

January 7 & 21, February 4 & 18, March 3 & 17, April 7 @ 3:30-4:30

This story time is designed for children with sensory processing issues, sensitivities and developmental delays. It will be held in the community room and the whole family is welcome to attend. A library social story is available in the children's room. For more information call Sheila at 324-4624
