Weekly To Go Craft

Take It/Create It!

Every Monday a new craft will be available for you to pick up and try at home.

The craft of the week consists of instructions for a simple project suitable for ages 3-14, a few materials (crayons, glue, and scissors not included), and book suggestions that complement the theme.

It will be available throughout the week when the library is open.

This pick-up option will be available until groups are able to safely meet in the children's room.

Homeschool Coding Project

Homeschool Coding Project

Mondays Sept. 13 - Oct 25 at 11:00

Homeschooling families are invited to attend this in-person 6-week course about learning to code using Micro:bits.  We will be utilizing the Micro:bits V2 we recently acquired through a Maine Public Library Grant. Each family will need to bring a device to use during the program that allows you to download the micro: bit app.

Chris Dorman, STEM librarian with Maine State Library, will be joining us, via zoom, for interactive games to help us have fun learning to code. We will be meeting in the building, masks required, or join us via zoom.  Email Sheila for the zoom link or for more information.
